Smart Templates Core v2.3

Build template input in the same Context Builder you use everywhere else

Smart Templates no longer carries a separate, retired context tree. v2.3 moves template context selection onto the redesigned Smart Context foundation, so choosing evidence for a template feels like the same workflow you use in Context, Chat, and the rest of the suite.

Why this matters

A reusable template is only as useful as the material you give it. Keeping a second context tree inside Templates created unnecessary differences in how sources were selected and reviewed.

Now the workflow is easier to remember:

  1. Choose the context in the current Builder.
  2. Choose the reusable template.
  3. Add instructions when the specific job needs them.
  4. Copy the result into the note or destination that owns the work.

Templates maintained its own retired context tree. Templates uses the current Smart Context foundation.
Source selection could feel different depending on which plugin opened it. Context selection follows one suite-wide mental model.
Shared menu improvements had to be recreated in the Templates surface. Supported file and copy actions use the Smart Environment v3 action layer.
