Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jobsi, inc. ("Smart Connections," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Smart Connections website, apps, and plugins (collectively, the "Service").
We try to keep this simple: we collect what we need to run the Service, provide subscriptions (if you choose Pro), and keep the Service secure.
1) What we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: such as your email address and basic account identifiers if you create an account.
- Support communications: information you send us when you contact support (including email content and attachments).
- Subscription-related information: if you purchase Pro, we may receive subscription status and payment-related metadata from our payment processor (for example, plan type, renewal status, and transaction IDs). Payment card details are handled by the payment processor.
- Content you intentionally submit: any content you choose to upload or send to us (for example, to reproduce a bug or request support).
1.2 Information collected automatically (log and device data)
When you use the Service, we (and service providers that help us operate the Service) may collect log data and technical information, which may include:
- IP address
- browser type and settings
- device information and operating system version
- timestamps and pages/actions within the Service
- error reports and performance/diagnostic data
- approximate location derived from IP address (country/region-level)
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies for core site functionality (for example, to keep you signed in), to help protect against abuse, and to understand how the Service is used.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features.
1.4 Notes and “mostly local” behavior
Many Plugin features are designed to run mostly on your device. Your private notes typically remain in your vault on your device. We do not intentionally collect or store your private note content unless you explicitly use a feature that requires sending content to our servers or you choose to provide content to us for support.
1.5 Third-party integrations (including AI providers)
Some features may allow you to connect to third-party services (for example, an AI provider or other tools you configure). If you enable an integration, content you submit through that feature may be sent to that third party and handled under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control third-party data practices.
2) How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- verify subscriptions and entitlements (for example, Pro access)
- deliver Plugin updates and improve reliability
- process payments and manage subscriptions (through our payment processor)
- respond to support requests and communicate service-related messages
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- comply with legal obligations
3) How we share information
We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers: We use vendors to help operate the Service (for example, hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and error monitoring). They may process information on our behalf and under instructions consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction: We may share information when you explicitly request or enable sharing (for example, enabling an integration or providing content for support).
4) Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete information we control, subject to retention requirements and legitimate business needs (for example, security logs and financial records).
5) Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6) Your choices
- Cookies: You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
- Account and data requests: You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control. We will respond as required by applicable law.
- Emails: If we send marketing emails, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (for example, receipts, subscription status, or security notifications) may still be sent when necessary.
7) International users
Smart Connections is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate.
8) Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the dates above. Changes are effective as of the Effective Date listed.
