Smart Chat pairs conversational prompts with Smart Environment embeddings so answers stay grounded in your notes.

Pick your model

Open Settings → Smart Chat. Choose a local engine like Ollama or connect an API such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.

Step 1 · Reference yourself

  • Type “Summarize what I wrote about it last week.” Smart Chat maps “it” to recent notes automatically.

Step 2 · Pull richer context

  • Use “Retrieve more” to append additional matches without resending your message.

Step 3 · Review before sending

  • Preview and toggle suggested notes so every request stays grounded in the right sources.
