Prerequisites

  • Smart Connections core installed and indexing
  • Recent Obsidian
  • Community supporter access

Install via Smart Plugins

Sign in with your supporter key in Smart Connections settings.

Add Connections Early

Open Smart Plugins and install Smart Connections Early from the list.

Enable features

Toggle Inline connections and Footer connections in Smart Connections settings.

Choose a score algorithm

Select the primary ranking and optional post processing to fit your vault.

Inline connections

See related notes while you type. Hover to preview, click to open.

Faster previews

Hold cmd or ctrl while hovering a result to trigger Obsidian Hover Preview.

Tune inline visibility

  • Adjust score threshold
  • Set results limit
  • Use include or exclude filters

Footer connections panel

Keep high scoring matches visible. Pin useful results and hide noisy ones.
